- Lorn: A walled city in northwest Terindale, accessed by the main road through old battlefield ridges. Seat of one of the Covenant's Lordsmen.
- Arlinstead: A walled town in southeast Terindale, where two seas meet at the coast and the land rises toward the eastern mountains. A trade post by older charter, now ringed with newer walls.
- Grenwood: A working town northeast of Kinlan, on the road toward Lorn. Seat of a Covenant Lordsman; home to the Bramble & Boar inn.
- Kinlan: A small farming village in southern Terindale. The chapel and the well sit at its center; barley fields stretch south, and an old oak stands at the village's eastern boundary.
- Darrowmere: A port on the northeastern coast of Terindale, a harbor with ships standing offshore.
- Brindon: A small village in the far north of Terindale, set in the foothills just south of the lake — the last settled ground before the hills give way to the wastes beyond.
- Eastmere: A very small fishing village tucked along the eastern coast of Terindale, well hidden behind the mountains.
- The Ridge: An unnamed ridge in the hills north-northeast of Kinlan, an evening's ride from the village, beyond Lorn's eastern flank. Its ground lies frost-hard in the cold.
- Mount Vyrn: A trembling volcano-mountain at Arlinstead's back. The city is built into its lower slopes: terraces, walls, and the fortified chapel climbing the mountainside.
- The Cave: A cave high in a ridge break in the Hallowfell Woods. Narrow at the mouth, opening into a wider inner chamber. The Mysterious Markings are carved deep into its inner wall.
- The Lightning-Split Oak: A lightning-blasted oak past Kinlan's barley fields, where the stream bends west, about a mile south of the village.
